What parents ask us.

Straight answers. No runaround.

Does everyone get accepted into Apex? +
Our Foundation program (ages 6–8) is open enrollment — no assessment required. For ages 9+, players go through an assessment before invitations are made. We need to ensure every player can meet the standards for at least the Elevate program. This is not about exclusion. It is about making sure every player is in the right environment to thrive.
What if my child is not placed in Summit? +
That is perfectly okay. This is not your club. There are no politics. Players move between levels based on readiness, commitment, and development — not favoritism. Elevate is the bridge to Summit, and with hard work and dedication, players are reviewed and re-evaluated throughout the year. We are not closing doors. We are opening them.
If my child plays for a club, can they still participate? +
Yes. Apex is club-neutral by design. Our structure is built to complement club soccer, not replace it. Your child keeps their club and gains a dedicated development partner. Most of our families are actively involved in club soccer alongside their Apex training.
How do you decide player placements? +
Placements are based on technical ability, game understanding, mental and emotional maturity, consistency of attendance, work ethic, and coachability. It is an honest assessment of where the player is today and what environment will help them grow the fastest. Movement between tiers is fluid and happens at scheduled evaluation windows throughout the season.
Can my child move up during the season? +
Yes. If a player demonstrates readiness and consistency, coaches may recommend a move at scheduled review windows. Evaluations happen at the end of Fall, start of Spring, and mid-season for players showing rapid growth. Our goal is to see every player progress through the pathway at the pace that is right for them.
What does a trial assessment look like? +
Your child joins a live Apex session. Our coaches evaluate their technical ability, tactical awareness, and development potential while they train alongside current players. You watch from the sideline. Afterward, we share honest feedback and a recommendation for the right program. No commitment required. No pressure. Just clarity.
How much does it cost? +
Programs start at $99 per month. Pricing varies by tier, age group, and number of sessions per week. Full-year commitment discounts are available. We are happy to walk through the details after your child’s trial assessment so you can make an informed decision based on the right program fit.
What do the Feyenoord and FTF Canada partnerships offer my child? +
Through our partnerships, Summit players have priority access to ID camps, college showcases, international tours, and Feyenoord training opportunities. Elevate players may also access opportunities as they progress and space allows. The entire pathway prepares players to pursue collegiate and professional opportunities both in Canada and internationally.
